Limited Edition F550S Frameset

The F550S represents our never-rest attitude. We’ve been working on this one-off frameset for a while and are excited to present a very limited run of something special. The base is the same geometry as our all-round-powerhouse F550. It is light, sturdy, nimble and awesome. We’ve refined it. Instead of an oversize down tube we’ve kept it to 1+1/8th inch throughout. It lend super-clean lines and reduce weight slightly. Weight reducing and game changing too is the addition of a carbon fork up front. The Seatpost diameter is 27.2mm, standard 68mm bottom bracket shell and a 1+1/8th inch headset. Sizing is from the center of the BB axle to the top of the seat post – which extends slightly above the top-tube. For the frame geometry drawings [click here] Instead of the industrial TIG weld we’ve applied a smoothweld at all the joints. It’s the same application as on our F5100, turning each corner of the frame into a beautiful transition between the tubes. Then, dress it in our 2014 team graphics and race logos. The F550-S. A pedigree. Included in the frameset is an F5 Carbon fork. It has a 35mm rake, aluminium 1+1/8th inch steerer and weighs barely a few hundred grams. We also offer a complete performance F550S build.
